Factory never really got it quite right did they..

All too often a customer will come to me having spent big money on a nice new Harley, Triumph or Indian and the seats from factory just aren’t up to scratch. Especially not for what they consider a cruiser or comfortable bike to ride. Generally all it takes is a softer density foam and a slight reshape and its like sitting on a lazy boy! Here’s just a few examples of what we can offer in the way of fixing that dreadful factory seat discomfort.

OEM standard to ground up customs..

Not only can we reshape your standard seat but we can completely build one from scratch to suit your build. From fibreglass pans to finished product, we’re able to service you for the entire process. As you’ll see below we’ve been lucky enough to work alongside some of the Gold Coasts best custom bike builders and through our dealings formulate the best foams and designs to ensure a comfy fit and badass look for your bike.

Harley Davidson - Breakout

Custom reshape and recover for this beautiful example of a tidy Breakout. Instead of sitting ontop of the factory seat i chopped about 40-50mm out the base to allow the rider to seat into the bike utilising a nicer shape to allow for extra back support also. A breakout rider will know about the ugly exposed bolts when riding without the pillion, i made a neat cover flap to hide them whilst riding without pillion that also folds out of the way when needed to mount the pillion seat. Next was the custom design layed down in Alcantara with leather borders. Such a simple yet stunning outcome. One of my favourite designs for damn sure.

Triumph America

Nice and simple recover in a beautiful distressed leather with a little extra foam in the insert for comfort. Not over the top but still a stand out leather choice for a stock bike that delivers the wow factor everytime.

Ironhead Chopper

Another chopper that had come to me asking for diamonds and I was able to talk him into a “diamond inspired” design. I’ve always had a thing for the old hotrod scallops and I guess these designs integrate those in some aspects. I’m always stoked when we can turn diamonds into something truly unique. Though the lighting is horrible the highlight stitch on this one actually matches the frame colour. it’s the little things that make the world of difference when it comes to custom.

Indian Scout Bobber

Unsatisfied with the comfort of the factory seat i was asked to widen, flatten and put loads more foam in there for those long rides. Looks near original yet its about 3x comfier. Literally a lounge chair it’s that comfortable! Finished it off with a gorgeous brown distressed leather.

Hardtail Triumph

This little gem was probably the smallest seat we’ve ever made. Sporting multiple layers of foam to ensure you didn’t bottom out, we then wrapped it in a white suede with a classic top sewn design. Nothing over the top as the bike does all the talking. Nice and simple seat that blends into the beautiful bike it is.

Harley Davidson - Breakout

Another breakout, another seat shaped down 50mm and given a backrest and plenty more foam. Of course i couldn’t let it go without the cover flap for solo riding to hide the horrific harley bolts. Went for a classier style this time round, almost a kings throne feel to it. I say this alot.. but it’d have to be up there in one of my favourites!
